Annual WACA General Meeting
Held at the Navy Stadium / Akerson Tower each February.
St. Patrick’s Day 5K
Run or walk in your best festive gear on a 5K loop through West Annapolis and Wardour. The 5K begins and ends at the Wardour bridge with light snacks and drinks at the finish line.
Easter Egg Hunt
Treat-filled eggs are hidden in the West Annapolis School playground and an appearance is made by the Easter bunny.
Earth Day GreenScape & Community Yard Sale
City of Annapolis GreenScape Earth Day cleanup and planting at West Annapolis parks. A Community Yard Sale is also held this day in April.
Cinco de Mayo
Come enjoy a food truck in the neighborhood on the first Thursday or Friday in May to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! See FB for location and date.
Summer Block Party
Food truck and fun with neighbors to kick off summer in June.
July 4th Parade & Picnic
Decorate your bikes and strollers for a bike parade that begins at 9 am at Wardour Circle, and ends with popsicles at West Annapolis Elementary. A picnic is also held at Wardour Beach in the afternoon. See Facebook for time and location.
Flamingles
Find the flamingoes: bring your own drinks to these pop-up happy hours on Friday evenings in the summer. Start time is 5:30 pm; see FB for Friday schedule, bring a drink and you will get a refill!
Navy Tailgates
Tailgates will begin an hour and a half before the game starts and end at half time. Our tailgate location is Admirals Row, Row 10, spot 70. We are next to the USNA class of 96' tent.
Oktoberfest
Food, beer, vendors & music at West Annapolis’ biggest street festival, held on the third Sunday in September.
Halloween Party
Come for free pizza and a costume contest to kick-off an evening of trick-or treating.
Outdoor Movie Night
Enjoy an outdoor movie with neighbors!
Holiday Market
Shop from local vendors and meet Santa Claus at our annual holiday market in the parking lot across from Evelyn’s. The holiday market is held the first Saturday in December from 11 am - 6 pm at the parking lot at Giddings and Annapolis Streets.
The City of Annapolis Santa Run
Held each year on a Sunday in mid-December, Santa stops at West Annapolis Elementary School on a fire truck. Toys for Tots gift-donations are encouraged. The Civic Association follows this event with caroling in the neighborhood. More details will be posted on the facebook page closer to the event.
